The Lancaster Dream Dog Park is located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and it was the 2012 winner of the Beneful Dream Dog Park contest!  Click here for directions through Google maps.  Beau, a german shorthair pointer, was the grand prize winner of this contest which included a $500 000 dog park makeover.  Remember when we posted the 2011 winner here and the 2010 winner here?

The 2012 park is as awesome as the previous years parks!  This park has a sprinkler pad which Jack thinks is the best part.

This park also has a really long fun running bridge, a tree that shoots out balls, a nice covered area with muskoka chairs, and lots of fun tunnels and agility equipment.

Check out this awesome video:

Please include the official dog park name, a few photos, where the dog park is located, and why you love the dog park. If chosen I will contact you by email for more photos, info, etc.

I Dig My Dog is a doggie daycare, boarding, and training facility located at 2160 East Foothill Boulevard in Pasadena, California. Click here for directions through Google Maps. You can check out their website here, and their Facebook page here.

I Dig My Dog would be a great place to drop your dog off for a day of doggie daycare!  Just check out their bone shaped pool. Enough said, right?

See that guy jumping into the pool?  That would be Jack!  Want to see what I would be doing here?

Yup, lounging around in one of the many Kuranda beds this place has!

This place has a few outdoor play areas and inside play areas.  Although I’m sure the pool is where the most fun is had.  Reviewers say that this doggie daycare is really well organized and clean…right up moms alley.

If you’re in the Pasadena area, be sure to check them out!

Best Friends Pet Care @ Walt Disney World

We’d love to know what your favourite dog park is!  If you’d like to recommend a dog park for Dog Park Saturdays’ post please email dexter[at]dextersdays[dot]com with ‘Dog Park Saturdays’ in the subject line.  Send us some pictures and let us know why you love it!

We know, we are a day late!

Best Friends Pet Care at Walt Disney World is located at…you guessed it, Walt Disney World in Florida!  Check out their website here and their Facebook page here.  Click here to see where Best Friends Pet Care is located at Walt Disney World Resort.

The overnight doggie guests can choose from different room categories.  We like this one with a flat screen tv and a door to the outside!  They have webcams so that you can watch your pup have fun too.

They have indoor, climate controlled dog parks.  Mom thinks I’d pee on the fire hydrant right away!

The outside dog park is pretty cool too.  There is tons of room to run and play.

The best part of being outside is hanging out and playing in this awesome water feature.  It looks like so much fun!

What do you thing?  We think that your pup would have as much fun hanging out here as you would inside Disney World!

This Saturdays post isn’t a dog park but it’s still somewhere awesome that is dog friendly that you can walk your dog to for some exercise!  Check it out:

The Barking Dog Cafe was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives with Guy.  Which is mom’s FAVOURITE food show.  The Barking Dog Cafe is located at 115 E 49th Street in Indianapolis, Illinois.  Click here for directions through Google maps.  You can check out their website here.

This place is awesome because it is a dog friendly restaurant and the dogs eat FREE!  Check out what they do for your pup!

When you come here to eat, your dog gets their own pup-burger and their name written in Ketchup!  Yum, I love Ketchup!

I agree with this guy, I’d be licking my chops too.  It didn’t last long though!

Mom loves when places are dog friendly and would eat here all the time.  BTW, they make their own bacon!

Check out the video of the Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives episode:

Sniff Dog Hotel

Yes, this is the second week that Dog Park Saturday has happened on a Sunday!  But check out what we found!

The Sniff Dog Hotel is located at 1828 NW Raleigh Street in Portland, Oregon.  Click here for directions through Google maps.   You can check out their website here, their Facebook page here and don’t forget to follow them on Twitter here.

Sniff Dog Hotel isn’t just a hotel!  It’s also a dog daycare, a dog park, a cafe, a grooming facility, and a training centre.  Let start with the dog park and dog daycare!  The dog park is an indoor park with dirt free K9 grass that has its own draining and flushing system.  They also have webcams to view your pup whenever you miss them!  Mom says that’s very important.

They have over 2000 square feet of play space but their daycare program is so busy that they are building a 4 story addition with more play areas.  Wow!  Daycare is a very fair price but let’s get to the cafe part.

There is a people cafe at Sniff!  If you visit Monday to Saturday from 5pm to 7pm and hang out in their cafe lounge then your dog gets to play for FREE.  Yup, human meet up= free indoor dog park!  So stinkin’ awesome.  And yes, you can sip a glass of wine here!  Hey mom and dad, you ready to move to Portland yet?

The dog park has glass walls, so from one end of the cafe, you can watch your dogs play.

Now let’s get to the hotel part.  Super modern and spacious, mom would be a little jealous of us staying here.

There are a bunch of rooms to choose from- 2 sizes of Standard Suites (which are still pretty awesome!), Jr. Suites with TV’s, Deluxe Suites with city window views, or Penthouse Suites with skylights and windows, and a private webcam!  Penthouse for us, right mom?  All dogs in all suites get a complimentary bath after a four night stay.  They all come with a free play option as well.  Click here for more room details.

Sniff Dog Hotel also offers training and has a salon and spa which has self wash dog stations.

So tell us, what do you think?  We are sold!  Has anyone been there?
