All My Stuff

I missed a few things during my week at grandma, grandpa, and Max’s.  Maxwell is a known toy killer.  So mom only packed me my rope bone, my kong, my super-sized ball, and my knitted dog bone.  Grandma only gave me my rope bone and my kong.  Obviously she knows Max and his abilities better than mom does!  So when I got home I went a little crazy when I got all my toys back!

I had every single one out and had them all around me.  Then I kissed them all.

There’s only 6 toys in this picture, but there are 6 more out of view!  Oh I love my stuffies!

My Week at Grandma, Grandpa, and Max’s

Like mom mentioned yesterday, we are all home from our week of vacation.  Mom and dad had a great time.  As I mentioned before, going to grandma and grandpa’s isn’t horrible, I just prefer my home.

During this weeks stay, grandpa took Max and I on a bunch of walks.

I also enjoyed laying in the sun in the living room!  We have a north facing condo so I don’t get this privilege at home during the winter.

Grandpa also took Max and I for hikes along a creek.  There are a lot of geese there!

It didn’t snow this time though but that’s ok.  It will soon!

This weeks stay wasn’t as bad as last time.  Mom says I’m growing up.  I still looked a little miserable at times.

I zonked out the last two nights and didn’t move an inch.  I slept a lot today as well.  But don’t worry grandma!  I’ll be ready for my weekly visit this coming Saturday!

Thank Goodness for Dog Lovin’ Family Members!

Well, we are back from vacation.  Us from Punta Cana and Dexter from his grandma, grandpa, and Max’s place.  All I have to say is thank goodness for family!  We didn’t have to worry about Dexter at all during our trip.  Although we did think about him quite a bit!

Last night we arrived back exhausted from a long travel day, picked up Dexter, and we all zonked out.  Although not fast enough for Dexter!

Here is how tired he looked:

And though I’m not going to show you any of MY yawns, let’s just say a few of mine rivaled Dexter’s!

And here Dexter is not looking impressed that I’m taking my sweet time taking pictures of him instead of turning out the lights and coming to bed!

You’ll hear all about Dexter’s perspective tomorrow I’m sure!

What did we learn from this Sunday’s Sanity Savior?  Find yourself a family member(s) who love your pup and tradesies with them during vacation time!
